Catherine Conner
Topic: Giving voice to the painful stories
Bio: I was a prodigal, knowing shame, starting at a young age, then abortion, and divorce, which thankfully led me to Jesus in a magnificent way. I am now a redeemed daughter of THE King on a mission to share His love and redemption. God can take and use someone like me, an introvert, that truly loves people, but sometimes gets “peopled out,” and He can use my story.
God literally had to take me from The East to The West ( NC to MT) to free me in ways only HE can do … for His Glory!!! Psalm 103. 🙌🕊️ . I now love sharing His love in unique ways through exercise, creative worship and the many creative ways HE gives me to encourage women in all walks of life.
Melissa Smith
Topic: Giving voice to the painful stories
My name is Melissa Smith. I am saved by grace and living with a purpose. I have been married to my best friend for 17 years and together we are following the plan God has put in front of us. I have been in the health profession for 31 years where I have been able to see some of God greatest work. It’s only been the last 3 years that I have been able to share my Christianity freely. I have a passion for the adoption ministry. Being a pregnant teenager who gave her baby up for adoption, I understand the struggles these young ladies face and the difficulty you live with the rest of your life. God knew my journey and I trusted his plan. I’ve had the privilege of raising my step son, my God gift. You see, he and my daughter share the same birthday. My favorite saying is “Let go, and let God” He’s going to see you through.
