Rev. Michael Kinard   -

Hello Senior Saints of Concord Baptist Church and Friends,

As many of you have already noticed, I have decided to rebrand the Senior Adult Ministry of Concord Baptist Church. I believe this gives us an opportunity, to Grow in our relationship with the LORD and others through Service, Fellowships and Adventures. Our ministry verse is 2 Corinthians 4:16, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” As we all grow older, we are not as young as we once were, we are not able to do the things we once could, but God is still at work in us and through us “day by day!”

I want to encourage you all, as the verse states, “do not lose heart.” Often it is easy to focus on our circumstance/situation and become weak in our walk with the LORD. I believe Paul, in his second letter to the Corinthians, encouraged the believers to stay on course and not to grow faint or lose heart. What he said to them applies as much to us as it did to them!

Keep your eyes on Christ!

In Christ, Rev. Michael Kinard
