We have had a busy month in September with Grandparents Day, Forever Young Luncheon, Forever Young Involved to Oasis, and the Forever Young Adventure to Silver Bay and the Anderson Museum. If you missed any of these, you missed a great time of fun and fellowship.

I have this saying which is not original to me but none the less it is worth sharing… God has a plan and He is always working His plan! Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of the same thought… “For I know the plans that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
What is God doing in your life?
What has He allowed into your life?
Why has He done it or allowed it?
Today, thank the LORD for what He is doing/allowed to happen to you! Give Him praise for His will and purposes. Realize today, the LORD has a plan for your future and He gives you hope! Today is the day for you to focus on the LORD.

Forever Young Serves – Spotlight – Each month at the Forever Young Luncheon, we take up the “tip” money to go towards different mission’s projects we have ongoing. One way the “tip” helps is to support our Compassion Children. Another way it can help is to be used towards the mission’s emphasis each month with a gift card or supplies. This October and November we will be gathering items and/or money for the Haven of Rest.
