Concord Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, SBC congregation located in Anderson, South Carolina. We are a vibrant and growing multi-generational church committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples. We exist to bring glory to God by Leading, Equipping and Sending.
Every Sunday morning, we offer an hour of Sunday School followed by a worship service. The worship service includes blended worship, prayer, Scripture readings, and expository preaching. Our student group of ages 6-12th grade averages a little over 100 students, and our worship service attendance is around 1,000 attendees. On Sunday evenings, our students gather for a meal, a time of praise and worship, followed by activities. Our church offers student small groups every Wednesday evening.
As a church we are dedicated to ministry and outreach, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Student Pastor to join our team and help continue to build a strong, biblically-centered ministry to students. The Student Pastor will provide leadership, vision, and direction for the student ministry of Concord Baptist Church. This includes overseeing the spiritual development of students in grades 6-12, building relationships with the students and their families, along with fostering a vibrant and engaged group. The Student Pastor will also work closely with student interns, other ministry volunteers, and the pastoral team to ensure the student ministry aligns with the church’s vision and mission.
We are excited about our future, as we are currently expanding and in the process of constructing a state of the art building that will be devoted to our students and kids. Concord Baptist Church is committed to expanding God’s kingdom through the next generation.
Anderson is a welcoming, growing mid-sized community located in the upstate of South Carolina. We are located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Clemson and Anderson Universities and 30 minutes southwest of Greenville. The community offers a small-town feel with access to a growing metropolitan area. Anderson is known for its friendly people and beautiful natural surroundings, including nearby Lake Hartwell. It truly is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
